Anyone who has met Ruby knows she can be a little live wire!  However if you could see her now! WoW~

She has settled right down and fast. About 15 minutes into the ferry ride to Vancouver Island, this calmness came over her. She was suddenly licking us and listening to commands.  Sit Ruby, in the back seat Ruby, lay down Ruby, she was a perfect little angel.  When we got near our street, she sprung up and her tail was going a 100 miles an hour, she was up at the windows and was suddenly quite a crazy girl!  How did she know where we were and home!??  It was amazing to say the least as she is now in a different country!!!
 
From Ruby-  Well here I am in Canada and I cannot thank my Friends in Friday Harbor who rescued me and gave me a chance with a new family-  I love you all to bits.  I am feeling so much better now, and am enjoying my walks early in the mornings with my mom.  She is very proud of me as I walk perfectly beside her with my new doggy harness and leash. and guess what!?!!?  When big brother took me for a walk, our neighbour was out with his Boxer Dog.  Big brother was worried but I just stood there and then jumped up on my 2 back legs and did a little dance for Boxer, he came over and checked out how tall I was standing on my 2 back legs. We had a little play together and then he had to go home.  I hope I see him again he was cute!
 
I am eating really well and have special doggy treats, they are yumm.  I love to run and play and go for long walks but when I am inside I love to snuggle up with my family, I get lots of pats, hugs and love.  And I am enjoying showing everyone how smart I am. When I want to go for a walk I just run to the front door and jump up.  When I want to play I lay down low and bark and then spring up and run around till they chase me!!!  We are having lots of fun!!  We are going to the park this afternoon so I can show Big Brother how fast I can run, I hope he can keep up with me!!  And he has a warm bed that I love to sleep in, it's cozy and snuggly.
