Mira Fink is a naturalist, educator and artist. She has been designing and leading environmental education programs for children and adults since 1986. She holds a B.S. in Environmental and Forest Biology and a B.F.A in Painting and is a part of a group of trained educators and therapists developing and promoting Project NatureConnect activities throughout the U.S.

Mira's Reconnecting With Nature workshops and courses help people discover that the many beautiful qualities they so admire in nature are also present within themselves. Participants do hand-on activities in safe natural areas. There is also structured time to reflect, write and/or use art materials, followed by sharing and group discussion.

Introductory workshops are generally 3 hours long. Weekend retreats and longer courses are also available. Workshops can be designed to fit the needs of any age group or social organization. Mira encourages the involvement of groups of Senior Citizens and people looking to deepen their spirituality through Reconnecting to Nature.

"The tall trees, the sound of the tiny brook, the quietness of the forest and the quiet words of Mira, gave me a feeling of goodness to be alive. As we sat, memories of the past came to mind - good, pleasant ones. I felt a closeness to nature as never before."
