Allison has always been interested in human potential. After obtaining a B.A. in Psychology and two Masters degrees in Education, she devoted the nextquarter-century to implementing what is known about how children learn by creating optimal educational environments for her students. Her professional experience includes teaching in a wide variety of settings (inner city, urban, suburban, rural, and Native American reservations), and she founded a school for gifted children which she successfully operated for several years.

Becoming increasingly disturbed by the effects of the negative aspects of our culture on the learning potential and overall development of her students (excessive use of glorified violence on television, rampant consumerism, use of drugs and alcohol, the breakdown of the family, etc.), and concerned about the overemphasis of the system on the development of rational, logical thinking, Allison began to search outside the field of education for answers to her most basic questions: "What kind of a world are we teaching these children to create?" and "What SHOULD we be teaching them?"

Years of exploring other cultures and religions of the world for clues provided many pieces of the puzzle. However, it was her discovery of the Reconnecting With Nature process that transformed Allisonís world view and provided answers which resonated with truth. In addition to adapting many of the reconnecting activities for use with her students, she is also devoting energy and her teaching skills to helping other adult seekers discover the health, harmony and joy that can be theirs by reconnecting with the love and wisdom that is inherent in nature.

Learn How To Make Earth Smile

The Earth is a living organism comprised of a highly integrated, balanced system of organic life brought into existence by the non-verbal, loving, attractive intelligence we call nature.

We are members of the Earth's biotic community, as connected to it a tree is to the ground. Yet somehow, through the millennia, we have become increasingly disconnected from that community"resulting in a world view that has brought forth the massive social, personal, and environmental crises of our time.

Humans have become Earth's prodigal children. We are squandering resources and destroying the balance of life"becoming 'lost' and unfulfilled in the process. If we are to survive as a species, we must shed our mechanistic view of the world and relearn how to become part of the Whole--the source of life--again.

But how? At birth we are as connected to nature as a finger is to a hand. We are fully equipped to function as natural, integral members of the biotic community. However, raised in our disconnected society, we very quickly become cut off from the global life community,s interconnective properties and processes.

Today there exists a powerful method that allows us to rediscover our connections to nature and our sense of belonging to a community of creative natural entities.

If you find the notion of becoming reconnected with nature attractive, you are among those sensitive humans who hear nature's call--and feel a desire to respond. Here's how you can begin:

At the all day Reconnecting With Nature workshop on October 3...

* you will learn how to reactivate all your 53 senses to guide and enhance your life and to help maintain the balance and integrity of the global life system (The Natural Systems Thinking Process);

* you will join with others in a few simple activities which, by causing a profound shift in your consciousness into a non-verbal awareness of the intelligence of Nature--the voice of the Earth ;

* you will participate in rituals, movement, and art activities to further bring you into the fullness of your Self and reconnect you with the essence of your soul;

* you will discover a way of thinking that gives expression to your natural awe and appreciation of nature;

* you will learn how to connect more deeply with your intuitive abilities"very useful for anyone working in the healing arts, the psychic sciences, and for those simply desiring a deeper sensitivity to the spiritual realm;

* you will experience energy, peace, comfort, support, greater health, and joy"all of which are natural outcomes of reconnecting with nature.
