Here are additional links that will be helpful in planning your island getaway. The San Juan Island Web Directory is used by community members and visitors alike, and is the island's only comprehensive listing of web sites. Just visiting? The Visitors Bureau's website is pretty groovy - if you can't figure out what to do after looking over it, you just let us know. We'll fill you in. We like what the Chamber of Commerce does, too. There are ways to keep up with what's going on around here, too. If you want to check out what's happening here on the island, here are some places to start: Island Cam: Check out the marina from this popular site, or see what the ferry lines look like with their sister site at Ferry Cam. News you can use: A good place to start is with the San Juan Island Update, which is a kind of "what's going on in town" kind of online newsletter. The island's only daily online news is at the San Juan Islander, while the "paper" newspaper is the Journal of the San Juan Islands. The Roche Harbor news often updates events and people as they happen in the village there. That ought to get you started. You'll have a great time here!
