DeanVillage_0061a_DxO.jpg - Dean Village, old Scots for 'deep', is on the River Leith. It's now a peaceful, very quiet, leafy green oasis down in a hole in the middle of Edinburgh but it used to be a separate village that grew up around a grain mill. The ancient grinding stone is still there.
