My wife Robin and I recently returned from a 10 day trip to Eastern and Central Oregon. The first few days we explored the history and found some of the sites and signs of the disastrous Meek Cutoff wagon train of 1845 along on which were a few of Robin's ancestors. Day 5 found us in Lakeview at the historic Hunters Inn which has it's own geyser. We started out early AM for the 70mi drive to Plush via Adel.
