We camped here at the hotsprings. This is the open pool but we chose the big pool which has a rock wall to block the cold wind. It is a beautiful clear pool about 5 feet deep into the basalt. Temps got down to about 20F at night. Way too cold for the lightweight bags we brought but WOW! were there ever a bunch of stars.
